Note: The Domain feature is available only to Grammarly Premium subscribers. In the menu that appears next, choose the Audience, Formality, Domain, and Intent of the document: To do that, open the Grammarly sidebar by clicking the G icon in the lower right corner of the browser window and then click Adjust Goals : If you use Grammarly for Chrome, you can also set a specific writing goal for your document directly in Google Docs. You don’t have to open the sidebar to accept these suggestions - simply hover over the underlined word to see the suggestion card. Some suggestions, such as correctness suggestions (red underlines) or style guide suggestions (gray underlines, available to Grammarly Business users), are shown directly in the text. I click done, but next time it again shows it. If you’d like Grammarly to stop flagging a particular spelling as incorrect, you can add the word to your personal dictionary by clicking the Add to dictionary button. Evey time I start my computers, the preferences pane opens up under Extensions, see attached pic.
If a suggestion is incorrect or you’d like to report it for any reason, click the three dots and choose your preferred option to proceed. To see a detailed explanation about a suggestion, click Learn more at the bottom of the suggestion. If you’d like to ignore a suggestion, click the trash can icon to dismiss it. If you’d like to accept a suggestion, simply click on it. To access Grammarly’s suggestions, open an existing Google document or create a new one and click the Grammarly button in the lower right corner of the browser window. If you use Chrome as your preferred browser, you can access Grammarly’s full functionality in the Grammarly sidebar in Google Docs. This beta has been released to all Grammarly users on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge Chromium. We are currently beta testing Grammarly's browser extension in Google Docs.
